Practice Description
Jenny’s practice is devoted to intellectual property law, including management, counseling, strategic development, litigation, licensing and procurement. She has counseled from emerging growth companies and start-ups to Fortune 500 companies over a broad spectrum of intellectual property related matters in a wide range of technical fields.
Jenny has represented clients in various U.S. District Courts as well as patent matters before the Court of Appeals For the Federal Circuit (CAFC), copyright matters before the Court of Appeals For The Ninth Circuit (9th Cir.), patent and trademark matters before the U.S. Patent And Trademark Office (USPTO), copyright matters before the U.S. Copyright Office, 337 actions (19 U.S.C. 1337) before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) and patent misuse and antitrust matters before the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC). 
She is also an adjunct professor at the Institute of Technology Law at National Chiou Tung University, where she teaches U.S. Patent Litigation, International And Comparative Patent Law, and other intellectual property law courses.

Litigation counsel on appeal for Linear Technology, Inc. in connection with adverse patent non-infringement summary judgment findings; summary judgment findings reversed on appeal in favor of Linear Technology.
Litigation counsel on appeal for Syntek Semiconductor Technologies, Ltd. in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in connection with adverse copyright judgments; adverse judgments reversed on appeal.
Litigation counsel for Rambus, Inc. before the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of California in a patent infringement/antitrust litigation brought against Hynix (Hyundai) involving synchronous dynamic memories.
Litigation counsel before the ITC for Rambus, Inc. in a 337 patent infringement litigation brought against Hitachi; action resulted in favorable settlement for Rambus.
Litigation counsel on appeal for Rambus, Inc. in connection with adverse judgments in a U.S. District Court; adverse judgments reversed on appeal on all counts.
Litigation counsel for a Taiwanese manufacturer of tissue converting machines in patent infringement cases brought by Fabio Perini North America in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and before the ITC; action resulted in a favorable settlement for the Taiwanese manufacturer.
Litigation counsel for a Taiwanese manufacturer of epichlorohydrin (ECH) in a trade secrets theft case brought by Resolution Performance Products LLC in the District Court of Harris County, Texas, U.S.A.
Counsel for several Taiwanese manufacturers of optical recording devices involved in patent licensing and negotiations and intellectual property rights protection.
Litigation counsel for a British semiconductor company in copyright infringement and unfair competition cases against two Taiwanese companies in district and administrative courts in Taiwan.
Counsel for a Taiwanese manufacturer of semiconductor materials involved in an intellectual property rights acquisition.
Counsel for a Taiwanese manufacturer of thermal printing devices regarding intellectual property rights protection of its hardware and firmware.
Counsel for a Taiwanese manufacturer of liquid crystal display materials in patent licensing and negotiations and intellectual property rights protection; arbitration resulted favorably for the Taiwanese manufacturer.
Counsel for a Taiwanese manufacturer of liquid crystal display glass sheets in a trade secrets theft case brought by Corning Inc.
Counsel for a Taiwanese manufacturer of liquid crystal display devices in a patent infringement arbitration brought by ABB Switzerland Holding Ltd; arbitration resulted favorably for the Taiwanese manufacturer.
Litigation counsel for a Taiwanese manufacturer of liquid crystal display panels and modules in a patent infringement case brought by LG. Philips LCD, Inc. involving thin film transistor semiconductor technology in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

Education & Bar Admission
Jenny graduated with Dean’s List from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and theme in Psychology, Economics and Asia Studies. 
While in law school, Case Western Reserve University, Jenny won CALI’s Excellence For The Future Award in international business transaction and passed the Patent Bar examination, becoming a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent And Trademark Office. 
Jenny is a Master of Law candidate in intellectual property law from the National Law Center of George Washington University and is admitted to practice in the state of California and Washington D.C. Jenny is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central District of California and District of Columbia and U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Ninth and Federal Circuit.
